Games Workshop, the company behind the popular Warhammer figurines, has announced record half-year sales, attributing its strong performance to a deliberate decision to shun artificial intelligence (AI)-generated content in favour of its 'human creators'.
Revenues for the six months to 30 November soared by nearly 12% to £333.7 million, compared with the same period last year and at constant currency rates. This significant growth notably helped to boost its pre-tax profit by 11% year-on-year, reaching £140.8 million.
