Warhammer 40,000 is one of my favorite franchises to date, and also one that, unfortunately, doesn't often get great games based on it, even though there are so many of them out there. But Mechanicus always stood out as an amazing 40K game and a fantastic 4X tactics title, and its sequel seems to be a straight improvement over the original.
It's also coming out next Thursday, May 21. That was confirmed in the latest leader deep dive published today on YouTube. For the longest time, the devs refused to give out an exact release date, and all of a sudden decided to just drop it a week before the game actually launches.
