A Leicestershire packing, warehousing and distribution specialist which began life in the CEO’s garage has reported a 10 per cent rise in revenues to £6 million, on the back of increased demand from online retailers.
Family-owned Hallmark Consumer Services, which celebrates its 30th anniversary this year, employs 70 people providing outsourced services including contract packing, direct mail, and logistics.
It bought a 40,000sq ft headquarters in Melton in 2013 and has invested in further extending the premises, recently adding a better storage and shipping facility. The company has also taken on a second site in Grantham, set to open this summer.
