So how is this possible? We asked John Pye where the discounted products comes from. A spokesperson said that they come from a range of places, including from government and enforcement agencies and large chains that have overbought stock.
They said: "We provide an exit route for retail PLCs and sell their over stocks, end of line stock, returned items and missed deliveries as well as on some of the UKs most high profile administrations, such as MADE.com and Moore Large. "
The items come in a variety of conditions, some are new in the box, or are ex-display items. Some items may have minor defects, but all are sold as seen and pictures of any damage will be online.
A spokesperson for John Pye Auctions said: "Auctions offer buyers the chance to get their hands on items for a fraction of the price. We auction thousands different items per week from white goods, furniture, technology products, vehicles, property and luxury goods.
"Through auction the buyer has the unique opportunity to control what they are willing to spend on an item, and in turn can grab some fantastic deals on thousands of different product types."
