However, upon downloading and opening the document, users were met with a jester’s image accompanied by the words ‘April Fool’. The document also featured India’s national emblem along with the phrase ‘Satyamev Jayate’, making it appear authentic initially.
It is important to clarify that the Government of India has not issued any such lockdown announcement, and the viral notice is entirely fake.
