Ian Evatt is pleased with how Kyle Dempsey has performed for Bolton Wanderers since arriving in the January transfer window and how he has adapted to life at his new club.
The midfielder made a January transfer window deadline day switch from Gillingham to Wanderers for an undisclosed fee as the seventh and final signing of the period.
He has gone on to play eight times for his new club since his arrival, and has recently returned to the team from a spell out injured from a groin injury, which kept him out of a reunion with the Gills at Priestfield earlier this month.

Evatt believes it has been no mean feat after the heavy January recruitment at Wanderers for all the acquisitions made - which also includes the likes of Dion Charles, Jon Dadi Bodvarsson and James Trafford - to hit the ground running.
But the Bolton boss is pleased with the progress Dempsey has made since his arrival at Wanderers and how the midfielder offers something 'completely different' in that area of the pitch.
Evatt said: "Kyle came in and has kind of dipped in and out and then he’s had a little injury, but I’ve been really pleased with him.
"It’s a difficult thing to recruit so many in January and for them all to hit the ground running when they’ve come from completely different teams and backgrounds to the way we do things here.
"He’s learning all the time, our visual learning and video learning, analysis. When I’m looking and presenting to the group, the intensity on his face and the attention to detail – he wants to learn and he is learning.
"He’s a great character, a very, very good player and give us something completely different to what the others give us.
"I was pleased with his performance against Wimbledon for instance, him and Aaron (Morley) were outstanding. Aaron is getting better all the time as well, there is lots to look forward to."
