Celtic's Reo Hatate is reportedly close to joining an English Championship club.
The Japanese midfielder, who has made 193 appearances for Celtic since joining from Kawasaki Frontale in January 2022, is believed to be keen on staying in Europe to test himself in English football.

Japanese journalist Kazu Kakiuchi stated that Hatate "appears to be nearing a move" to an English Championship side, although the club's identity remains unknown.
The 28-year-old has played a crucial role in Celtic's recent success, contributing to five Premiership titles, two Scottish Cups, and two League Cups.
However, he had been linked with a return to Japan before deciding to remain in Europe. With a Championship move seemingly imminent, Hatate's four-and-a-half-year stint with the side could be coming to an end.
