Walmart is recalling about 4,477,655 Expert Grill metal wire bristle grill brushes because small wire bristles can detach and stick to the grill or to food. The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) announced the recall on October 1, 2026, warning of an ingestion hazard and a "risk of serious internal injuries that could require surgery."
No incidents or injuries have been reported with these brushes, according to the CPSC. The recall addresses the hazard itself rather than any confirmed harm from this product line.
