Wales will be preparing to build on their draw against USA as they face Iran looking to recover from their thrashing against England on Monday. Both teams meet at the Ahmad bin Ali Stadium
The Red Dragons are the favourites going into this match with Betfred at 11/10 while Team Melli are 3/1 and a draw is 11/5. This will be the second meeting ever having previously met back in April 1978 which Wales won.
A hard-fought draw for Wales will certainly lift the morale from their Group opener after Timothy Weah gave Team USMNT the lead in the first-half before a late Gareth Bale penalty ensured Wales still came away with a point.
Meanwhile, Iran will be looking for a more positive response after their 6-2 drubbing to the Three Lions. Head coach Carlos Quieroz will want to make sure his second stint for Team Melli is not a short-lived one.
