Gareth Bale is ready to start against England in Wales' do-or-die final World Cup group clash.
Rob Page’s men need to win and hope Iran and United States draw on Tuesday, otherwise they will need to beat England by at least four goals to qualify from Group B in Qatar. Captain Bale, 33, and fellow veteran Aaron Ramsey, 31, were widely criticised for their ineffective displays in Wales' dire 2-0 loss to Iran amid concerns over their fitness.
But Page's squad return to training on Sunday with their record goalscorer and most-capped player Bale keen to start a third game in nine days despite the hectic schedule. Wales will have Danny Ward in goal for the England game after Wayne Hennessey's sending off against Iran.
But the Football Association of Wales believe Hennessey will only have to serve a one-game ban as he was dismissed for denying a goalscoring opportunity rather than violent conduct when he pole-axed Mehdi Taremi. The Dragons, who had a recovery day on Saturday, will train on Sunday afternoon at their Al Sadd base to prepare to take on rivals England on Tuesday night.
Bale will have added fire in his belly to make things right against the Three Lions after he was left struggling to voice his emotions in the immediate aftermath of the defeat by Iran. "We are gutted, there is no other way to say it," the 33-year-old told BBC Sport.

"We fought until the last second and we need to go again. We are all gutted but we have to pick ourselves up straight away. It is going to be difficult for us for sure. We will have to see. What can I say? We recover and we have to go again."
Meanwhile, Iran manager Carlos Queiroz revelled in his side's victory, which significantly boosts their chances of reaching the last 16. He said: "This is just the beginning, but we need to finish the job. A wonderful day for us. All respect to my players, today showed they love to play football. Our players deserve to be supported. We want to play for the fans."
