Wales head coach Wayne Pivac is sweating the fitness of star winger Josh Adams just days before naming his squad for the upcoming autumn internationals.
The try-machine crossed for his latest five-pointer in the first half of Cardiff's win over the Dragons on Saturday night but seemed in real discomfort when he left the field early in the second half.
Shortly before the break he received treatment on his wrist and emerged for the second period with it heavily strapped up. But almost immediately he shook his head towards the touchline and was replaced.

Cardiff Director of Rugby says there is no talk over a possible fracture that would rule him out of the upcoming internationals at this stage but further assessment will be required.
"It's a wrist injury," confirmed Young. "He missed the last two weeks with a groin injury but thankfully that's fine. It was a collision injury, so we're hoping it's not too bad.
When asked if he was worried Adams may have fractured his limb, Young said: "The honest answer is that I don't know. They'll take a look at it but they won't do anything today. I certainly haven't heard that, that talk hasn't been put to me.
"Hopefully we'll know a bit more tomorrow but fingers crossed it's not as bad as that.
"It was a great finish for the try and every time he had the ball, he looked a threat."
Pivac, who was in the stands at the Arms Park, also suffered another blow when exciting flanker Taine Basham was led down the tunnel by medics shortly before the break.
He looked in considerable pain and received lengthy medical attention on the field after suffering what is feared to be a dislocated elbow. He went to hospital before the game concluded for further assessment.
Should the worst come to pass, Basham is looking at months on the sidelines.
"It's a shame because Taine's playing well," said Dragons boss Dai Flanagan. "I've seen a load of energy in him lately and excitement.
"We lose a lot of X-factor in Taine but he's also growing day-by-day in the environment. He seems to be enjoying his rugby, so it will be a big loss, not just for us but for Taine himself."
