Wales hero Hal Robson-Kanu has offered his services to Wrexham co-owner Ryan Reynolds on social media following the Reds' win against Yeovil Town on Tuesday night.
The Racecourse outfit are on the brink of promotion, needing one win from their final two games to complete a stunning return to the Football League for the first time in 15 years.
And now Robson-Kanu is keen to join the Hollywood revolution - offering any salary he would get to a charity of Wrexham fans' choice.
The former Reading, Southend United, Swindon, and West Brom striker’s last game was a 3-1 defeat to Leeds United in May 2021, but the former Wales player has stated his willingness to make a comeback with the Red Dragons.
Commenting under an Instagram post from the Deadpool star, Robson-Kanu said; “@vancityreynolds I’ll come out of retirement and come and play for @Wrexham_afc next season. I’ll also give my salary to charity of the fans choosing…” complete with a phone emoji.
Robson-Kanu, who received 46 caps for Wales, remains a cult-hero for his iconic Cruyff-turn goal against Belgium in the quarter-finals of the 2016 European Championships.
The 33-year-old last featured for Championship side the Baggies before leaving the club in 2021 after stating to local media that he “didn't agree with the direction the club was going in," following their relegation from the Premier League.
Since leaving The Hawthorns, Robson-Kanu has been operating a Turmeric-based nutrition brand which he founded in 2018, alongside working as a pundit for Sky Sports.

Robson-Kanu isn’t the first high-profile player to offer his services to the non-league side, with former Manchester United goalkeeper Ben Foster recently coming out of retirement to sign for Reynolds and Rob McElhenney's team.
Foster had previously featured for the Red Dragons during the 2004/05 season while on loan from Stoke City, and quickly became a fan favourite after helping them win the Football League Trophy at the-then Millennium Stadium.
Upon his return to the Racecourse back in March, the former England keeper would once again play a pivotal role for the Red Dragons when he saved a last-minute penalty to help his side record a dramatic 3-2 win over promotion rivals Notts County.
Wrexham are one win away from a first return back to the Football League since 2008 after beating Yeovil Town 3-0 on Tuesday evening, putting them four points clear of rivals Notts at the top of the table.
