Wake The Tiger has announced it will host an immersive adults-only event this Halloween for one night only in Bristol. The unique experience in St Phillips welcomes you to 'Danse Macabre' for the spooky season and will be its first event since it first opened this summer.
Danse Macabre began in medieval times as a way to remind people of the vanity surrounding a desire for earthly possessions can be and how fragile life is. The night is set under the backdrop of Wake The Tiger's imagined world of Merida, where shadow walkers, sky queens and junk lords will interact with you throughout the evening.
“Within the world of Meridia, guests will watch the old world slip away into shadow and dust, like a burning ship into the setting sun. From this precipice of change, they will glimpse the hope of a new day rising with the dawn,” says Doug Fransisco, artistic director at Wake The Tiger.
