AHMEDABAD/VADODARA: If you are seeking a new or updated passport, your wait to secure a spot at the nearest Passport Seva Kendra might be longer than your holiday leave. Ahead of the festive season, the PSKs across the state are dealing with a rush of applications, prompting an extended waiting period for those seeking appointments. Against the usual wait time of two days, Ahmedabad applicants are required to hold on for 20 days to schedule an appointment while applicants in Vadodara must endure a wait of 15 days.
At Ahmedabad PSKs, the next available appointment for a tatkal passport (last checked at 4pm on Monday) is on August 8. Applicants seeking regular passports in Ahmedabad have no choice but to wait till August 5 while their Vadodara counterparts have to wait till August 3.
