Rebekah Vardy and Coleen Rooney came head-to-head in court yesterday as their libel trial - famously dubbed Wagatha Christie - began.
The two WAGS have been at loggerheads since Coleen accused Jamie Vardy's wife of leaking 'false stories' about her private life in October 2019.
She came to the conclusion after carrying out a month-long 'sting operation' where she used her Instagram Stories to post fake scenarios and seeing which ones ended up in the news.
Rebekah, 40, denies the allegations and sued Coleen for damages for libel over the 'untrue and unjustified defamatory attack'.
Coleen, 36, earned herself the nickname Wagatha Christie as fans joked her investigating skills were very much like mystery writer Agatha Christie.
The mum-of-four made an infamous tweet which blew up on social media - with many becoming invested in the case.
On the day she claims to have found out who the suspect was, Coleen published a post on Twitter which ended, "It's.......... Rebekah Vardy's account."
On Tuesday, the two women came face-to-face in court as the trial began after months of preliminary hearings.
Rebekah returned to the stand today for the second day of giving evidence in her libel case against Coleen.
The long-anticipated battle between the pair kicked off yesterday with claims, counter-claims and a sleazy account of a sexual encounter.
Rebekah told how she feared she may lose her unborn baby and was left feeling suicidal after a "chilling" phone call from her rival WAG who accused her of leaking stories to the press about her.
But the barrister for Coleen, the wife of Derby County manager Wayne, said his client's actions were like something out of a "good detective story".
Rebekah attended the hearing at the High Court in London flanked by security while Coleen arrived with husband Wayne, 36.
In an explosive witness statement on the first day of her libel action, Rebekah said of the phone call: "[Rooney] didn't answer immediately and then called me back off an unknown number.
“I hoped that, once I had told her that it was not me, then she would simply fix this. Instead, she accused me of leaking stories about her for years.
“I asked her to send me the stories that she thought I had leaked and she said that I knew exactly what I had done.
“I asked her how she could do that to someone who was heavily pregnant and she said I had been leaking stories about her when she was pregnant.
“She told me that she wanted to make me feel paranoid the way she had felt paranoid. I still remember her tone on that telephone call vividly.
“It was extremely calculated and cold and she showed no remorse even though I was very upset. I found it very chilling and quite menacing.”
