‘Wagatha Christie’ trial: Tearful Rebekah Vardy accuses Coleen Rooney of driving agent to ‘suicidal thoughts’

Rebekah Vardy concluded her evidence in the ‘Wagatha Christie’ trial in tears on Thursday as she accused Coleen Rooney of driving her friend and agent to suicidal thoughts with the case.

When barrister David Sherborne, for Rooney, suggested Vardy’s agent, Caroline Watt, had withdrawn from the case to avoid supporting her, Vardy angrily replied: “She has been driven to suicidal thoughts by the proceedings and the antics of the defendant.”
