A West Australian man has been extradited to Victoria, charged with the cold case murder of a Geelong West woman.
Annette Steward was found dead in her Hope Street property on March 18, 1992.
Police in 2015 offered a $1 million reward for any information relating to the 29-year-old's death.
A coronial inquest in 2007 had named a co-worker as the main suspect.
A 55-year-old West Australian man was last week taken to Victoria, where homicide squad detectives charged him with Ms Steward's murder.
He was remanded in custody ahead of an appearance at the Melbourne Magistrates Court on March 20.
The man was arrested by WA police in January 2020 as part of an unrelated investigation.
