WA bushfire downgraded to watch and act

A bushfire that had initially threatened homes north of Perth has been downgraded. (AAP)

A bushfire burning north of Perth that had threatened homes and lives has been downgraded to a watch and act level.

The fire which started on Friday near Gray Road in Bindoon, about 84km north of the West Australian capital, was downgraded as it was contained and stationary.
