'Vulnerable' man with dementia who may have travelled to Glasgow found safe and well

A 'vulnerable' man with dementia has been reported missing from Inverclyde amid police concern for his welfare.

John Traill, aged 66, was last seen at Carwood Street in Greenock at around 11am on Wednesday June 8.

It is believed he may have travelled to Glasgow and is likely to have passed through Buchanan Bus Station.

The 66-year-old also has links to Edinburgh and Coventry in the West Midlands.

Police Scotland officers have described John, who has dementia, as 'vulnerable' and are concerned for his welfare.

He has been described as 5ft 4ins tall, of a slim build with grey hair.

John had been wearing a blue T-Shirt, jeans and white trainers at the time of his disappearance.

He was also carrying a clear, plastic Orange 14 size folder and may also be wearing glasses.

Anyone who thinks they may have seen John or who has any information about his whereabouts is asked to contact police.

This can be done by calling 101 and quoting reference no. 1966 of June 9, 2022.
