Voting opens in New Zealand for November 7 election

Advance voting is underway for the New Zealand election which is shaping up to be the closest contest in a generation.

The two alternatives as prime minister, incumbent Chris Luxon and Labour leader Chris Hipkins, cast ballots on Monday, ahead of the November 7 election day, while urging Kiwis to do the same.
