Backing the SNP in Thursday’s Aberdeen South by-election will be a vote against the “Westminster rip off” of energy, John Swinney has claimed.
The contest to replace Scottish Transport Secretary Stephen Flynn in the Commons – triggered by his election to Holyrood last month – has revolved around the region’s oil and gas sector, with the SNP, Tories and Reform likely in the running.
