Vondrousova ends Svitolina's run to reach Wimbledon final

NEW DELHI: Marketa Vondrousova put an end to Elina Svitolina's impressive run as she defeated the new mom with a score of 6-3, 6-3 to secure her spot in the Wimbledon final for the first time in London on Thursday.

Despite Vondrousova's previous praise for Svitolina's incredible performance and resilience after giving birth to her daughter just nine months ago, there was no room for sentiment on the court.
