Reality TV star Vogue Williams has opened up about her excitement at being given the chance to write her first children’s book.
Jump For The Stars is the mum-of-three’s first children’s book, which is available to buy this week.
Vogue told how reading is a huge hobby in her home with her family – so she is delighted her kids will be able to read her book.

She said: “Reading is a massive thing in our house. The kids absolutely love books. Theodore started speaking really young and he has so many words.
"He can hold a conversation with an adult. He’s absolutely brilliant. I put a lot of that down to reading and it sets us up for our bedtime routine.
“To have written my own book is so exciting. I can’t wait to read it to them. It’s like something I never thought I would be able to do but getting to do it, I can’t wait to hold the book in my hand. It’s really exciting.”
But the Howth native admitted it did take a lot of time to publish her book.
“No. It takes a very long time. Even the first time we met and spoke about it, it was before Covid. It was like a week before Covid so it has been going on for that long.
“Even down to choosing somebody who will do the illustrations. I love what she did and that is such a huge part of the book as well because that’s what jumps out at children too. It did take a long time, but I have a really good publisher and they were very good with me.”
Actress Amy Huberman also released her first children’s book this week as well.
The Day I Got Trapped In My Brain is a story she says was inspired by her own upbringing and also by her children.
She shares her kids Sadie, nine, Billy, seven, and baby Ted, 19 months, with husband Brian O’Driscoll, and wanted the book to represent the curiosity of young kids.
