Vogue Williams is less than three months away from giving birth to her fourth child with Spencer Matthews, but it appears the couple can’t agree on a name.
And considering her rather unique and self-described “mad” choices, fans may not be surprised that she is butting heads with former Made in Chelsea star Matthews over the matter.
In a new radio interview with Jamie Theakston on Heart Breakfast this week, Williams, 40, listed two of the names that she had her heart set on - but were shut down by her husband.
“I loved Sailor,” she said. “That was vetoed. Not allowed to have it because of the song A Sailor Went To Sea.”
Theakston said he thought it was “not the worst” name, but added: “That’s not the reason why it’s a bad idea. It’s got to be a name, not an occupation.”
Williams continued and said she “loved Rocket” as a name for the baby. But this time, Jamie disagreed and said: “Again, that’s not a name - that’s a vehicle.”
But the Loose Women star replied: “Think about what you’d want to be called. I’d love to be called Rocket. And for people closest to me, I’d say, ‘Call me Rocks’.”
Theakston revealed that he wanted to be called “Darren” as a child “to be like everyone else” - to which Williams retorted: “I was called Vogue. Imagine how that felt!”
In June, Williams admitted that the name she and Matthews have settled on is “f***ed”.
In an episode of her podcast with comedian Joanne McNally, My Therapist Ghosted Me, she confessed: “I'm just going to warn everyone, the name we love is f****d. Okay. It's mad.”
Williams explained that when she told McNally the name, her friend “flinched”, adding: “That made me go, ‘Oh it's a big name.’”
McNally admitted she had been “a bit taken aback”, adding: “It's the heaviest hitter yet, isn't it? You'd have to say of the four, it's the heaviest hitter.”
Williams - who recently faced split rumours with Matthews - conceded: “It's such a big first name. We're going to do a normal middle name just in case so the baby can choose.”
Williams and Matthews already share three children - Theodore, seven, Gigi, five, and Otto, three. The couple announced their latest pregnancy in April with a sweet photo of their stomachs pressed together during a beach holiday.
The presenter later revealed she suffered from two pregnancy losses, the first before the birth of her daughter Gigi and the second last year.
Speaking on her YouTube channel, What Does She Even Do?, Williams said the loss occurred when she was around three months pregnant and was about to tell their children about it.
“I just never even thought about it because I kind of didn’t want to make a fuss,” she said, explaining that she felt “quite sick” but “not as sick as I would usually feel during pregnancy”.
But she later discovered that “basically the embryo hadn’t grown”.
Williams added: “Usually you just naturally get a miscarriage, but I didn’t, it just kept like it would have eventually happened, but it just didn’t at the time, and I was three months along, and (the doctor) was just like, I’m really sorry… it’s not really a pregnancy.”
The incidents led to her feeling “nervous” about her current pregnancy, but she added that she was “grateful that I feel so sick all the time because then I know it’s there”.
