The body of Thai travel YouTuber Bawornthat "Hlun Solo" Pengsuk has reached the Thai embassy in Ankara, Turkey, with repatriation to Thailand expected soon after the final documentation has been completed.
The update was recently posted on Facebook by Bawornthat's elder brother. He said his brother's body was received by the Thai embassy on Monday at 1pm (Georgia time) after having undergone forensic examination by authorities in the Eastern European country.
The body is being kept in good condition. Once all required documents are in order, the embassy will urgently coordinate with airlines to arrange the earliest possible flight.
The brother added that Bawornthat's passport will be returned together with the body.
Bawornthat was found dead in a hotel room last month in Tbilisi after his family lost contact with him.
