Vladimir Putin faced a global outcry on Friday after Russian forces attacked a nuclear power plant, sparking a blaze which Boris Johnson warned could have “directly threatened the safety of all of Europe”.
The Prime Minister condemned the “reckless actions” of the Russian President and said Britain was pushing for a UN Security Council meeting to discuss the attack, which was branded “madness”.
