A former Russian minister has claimed that Russian President Vladimir Putin could be ousted by an internal Kremlin coup.

Andrei Kozyrev believes that key figures within the Kremlin may be plotting the Russian President's downfall.

It comes as Russian forces edge towards the Ukrainian capital of Kyiv, with reports overnight stating that the majority of Russian troops are now just 25km from the city following a night of intense fighting.
