It has been claimed that a group of former Russian generals and KGB officials have been making plans to remove Vladimir Putin from the country's top political job.
The reported plan to oust Putin - who has allegedly survived multiple assassination attempts - is thought to be part of a bid to end the war in Ukraine.
Putin is said to be "bracing for a coup", while high-powered groups close to him reportedly lay plans to see him removed.
