An ally of Vladimir Putin has issued a haunting warning that is seemingly aimed at western leaders as the Russian invasion of Ukraine continues.
Many countries further afield have been sending aid to Ukraine, but Dimitry Medvedev says the “horsemen of the Apocalypse are on their way” should any missiles sent by the United States be used in an attack against Russia.
The 56-year-old served as president of Russia from 2008 to 2012 after Putin was forced to stand down due to term limits at the time, and he is currently deputy head of Russia’s national security council.
