- Vladimir, a new Netflix comedy starring Rachel Weisz and Leo Wooddall, is receiving rave reviews from critics.
- The eight-part series, which is based on Julia May Jonas’s novel of the same name, is about a university professor who becomes obsessed with her younger colleague.
- The Guardian gave the series five stars, calling it "proper television for proper grownups", and the Daily Mail also awarded five stars, saying: “this may be the best [Weisz] has ever been”.
- The Telegraph gave the "quirky campus comedy" four stars, while the Evening Standard also gave the series four stars, labelling it an "odd, if fascinating beast".
- The Independent’s review was more muted, awarding three stars; while it called Weisz a “terrific actor”, it lamented the “faux edginess” of the series, saying it “feels a bit hack in 2026”.
