Visakhapatnam: Docs remove 300 gram of hair mass from 13-year-old girl's stomach

VISAKHAPATNAM: The doctors of Visakha Institute of Medical Sciences (VIMS), the super-specialty government hospital, successfully performed a trichobezoar surgery on a 13-year-old girl of Rajahmundry on Friday.

The girl has been suffering from stomach pain for the past few months and her parents visited many hospitals but no one identified the exact reason for the pain. In the past 50 years, only 68 people have suffered from this disease, the VIMS doctors said.
