Virginia Speaker Gilbert raises $637,115 during 2021 election cycle

According to the most recent campaign finance reports made to the Virginia Department of Elections, Virginia House Speaker Todd Gilbert raised $637,115 and spent $583,402 between Jan. 1, 2020 and Dec 31, 2021. 

The speaker of the Virginia House is the leader of the state’s lower chamber. Rep. Gilbert is a member of the Republican Party and has served as a state delegate since 2006. Rep. Gilbert’s current term ends in 2024.
