Virginia Giuffre’s powerful posthumous memoir has been named Book of the Year at the British Book Awards.

Her book, Nobody’s Girl: A Memoir Of Surviving Abuse And Fighting For Justice, also secured the non-fiction narrative book of the year prize at a London ceremony on Monday.
