Lucy Kennedy returned to our screens last night in Lucy Investigates, a four part series which sees the popular presenter meeting some of Ireland's most interesting subcultures.
The show's debut episode saw Lucy getting to known Ireland's sex and kink scene which included a visit to a sex shop, a meeting with a self intimacy coach and speaking to a professional dominatrix. Perhaps the most tame part of the journey, according to some viewers, was the visit to the sex shop, which still left Lucy shocked and surprised.
After leaving the shop, Lucy joked: "I'm just going to buy some holy water. I think I need to lie down. My head is actually buzzing. That was great craic.

"My God, I'm so behind the times and nerdy. I didn't know what half of those things did. Did it inspire me to shop there? No."
While many on Twitter were full of praise for the presenter, some poked fun at Lucy's cluelessness as shop worker Richie showed her around. Commenting on Lucy's apparent innocence when it came to the items she was being shown, one Twitter user said: "It's gas how chill everyone is about sex in this programme, and Lucy's acting like she's never left the house."
Another joked: "Was she raised in a f***ing convent?" Another said: "I hate the way she is acting like such a prude, chill out Lucy it’s only a sex shop."
One Twitter user wrote: "Oh my god she's brutal... disgusted at every vibrator in the shop."
The rest of the episode saw Lucy in more scenarios that left her speechless, including a visit to a pup party and a swinger who explained to her what "pegging" is. Many took to Twitter to praise Lucy, with one person writing: "Forever and always @KennedyLucy is the Queen of our screens. What a great show."
Another said: "Whatever they’re paying you Lucy it’s not enough!"
