When it comes to streaming our favourite content, the competition is getting more fierce.
Virgin Media is offering its Stream customers even more value, with huge savings of up to £31 per month on popular subscriptions including BT Sport, Sky Sports and Sky Cinema in comparison to Sky’s new streaming service.
Available now, Virgin Media customers who take M350, M500 or Gig1 broadband only packages can get Stream with no activation fee, saving them £35 overall.
Unlike other streaming based TV services available, with Stream Virgin Media, customers can pick and mix so they don’t get caught paying for channels they won’t watch.
With no monthly ongoing cost beyond the subscriptions customers choose to add, customers with Stream can enjoy entertainment on their terms, only paying for the TV they want to watch.
Stream is available on a 30-day rolling contract; however Virgin Media customers can enjoy discounted pricing on BT Sport, Sky Sports and Sky Cinema for the duration of their 18-month broadband contract (unless they cancel Stream).
Virgin Media VS Sky Stream comparison (18 month contract price)
Sky Sports HD - Virgin Media - £18.75 (Sky £25)
Sky Cinema HD - Virgin Media - £10 (Sky £11)
BT Sport HD - Virgin Media - £10 (Sky £30 for 31 day rolling contract)
David Bouchier, Chief TV & Entertainment Officer at Virgin Media O2, said: “Stream from Virgin Media was built on three core principles – value, flexibility, and convenience.
At a time when every penny counts, we’re offering our customers even more value, so they squeeze the most out of their money with discounted streaming services or Stream credit giving them extra money back.”
