Did Virat Kohli stare at fan for chanting 'Chokli' in front of teammates? - Watch

NEW DELHI: India's star batsman Virat Kohli was noticeably irritated when a fan addressed him as "Chokli" while he was practicing with his teammates in a room in Sri Lanka.

As Virat was engrossed in his practice session, the fan began shouting, which sounded like, "Chokli-Chokli" and the chant caught batter's attention. Virat immediately turned to face the fan, displaying a displeased expression.

Virat landed in Sri Lanka on Monday morning for the three-match ODI series against the host nation.

Due to rain in Colombo, the initial practice session was called off. Nevertheless, Virat participated in his first net session since the conclusion of the T20 World Cup.

With the 2025 Champions Trophy just seven months away, Virat will be expected to give his all and showcase his best performance to aim for another ICC trophy.

Virat, who has announced his retirement from T20Is following India's triumph in the T20 World Cup, has played 53 ODIs against Sri Lanka, amassing 2594 runs at an impressive average of 63.26, which includes 10 centuries and 12 half-centuries.
