Virat Kohli gestures 'keep quiet' to Gabba crowd after a sharp catch - Watch

India's bowlers found their wicket-taking form on the second day of the Brisbane Test against Australia, which included all-rounder Nitish Kumar Reddy dismissing Marnus Labuschagne, thanks to a sharp catch in the slips by Virat Kohli.

After Jasprit Bumrah returned to his devastating-best on Sunday morning with a double strike to remove openers Usman Khawaja (21) and Nathan McSweeney (9), Reddy provided an important breakthrough in the form of Labuschagne, who was looking to build on his fighting half-century in the Adelaide Test.

The rain-hit day one in Brisbane had ended after just 13.2 overs that saw Australia reaching 28 for no loss.

On Sunday, bowling the 34th over of the Australian innings, Reddy drew Labuschagne (12) into a drive and found the edge that went flying to Kohli, who took a sharp catch.

After taking the catch, Kohli put a finger on his lips while looking at a section of the Australian fans in the crowd, gesturing 'keep quiet'.

Australia reached 104 for 3 at lunch, with Steve Smith batting on 25 and Travis Head on 20.

The five-Test Border Gavaskar Trophy is level at 1-1. After India won the opening Test in Perth by 295 runs, Australia came back strongly to clinch the pink-ball Test in Adelaide by 10 wickets.
