A video shared on social media this week captures a moment between former US President Bill Clinton and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton that quickly went viral, with viewers offering conflicting interpretations of the interaction. The clip, filmed in New York City on Tuesday, 10 March, shows Bill Clinton appearing to nudge his wife toward a busy interaction before she steps back and protests.

​The footage shows the Clintons walking near 41 Madison Avenue in Manhattan after attending an event and reportedly visiting their daughter, Chelsea. As they paused at the edge of a crosswalk, the video captured Bill Clinton extending his arm towards Hillary, seemingly nudging her forward.
