A wanted man on the run from police in Liverpool could be in Aberdeen, the public has been warned. The public has been urged not to approach Aidan Quirk, who has been described as a "violent" man.
Quirk, 29, is wanted on prison recall and has links to Kirkby and Croxteth in Merseyside but also Aberdeen. Anyone who sees him has been urged to call the police.
He is described as white, 6ft 3in tall, of slim build, with blue eyes and brown hair.
A statement by Merseyside police said: "Have you seen Aidan Quirk? He is wanted on a prison recall. Quirk, 29, is described as white, 6ft 3in tall, of slim build, with blue eyes and brown hair.
"He has links to Kirkby, Croxteth and Aberdeen in Scotland. Quirk could be violent if approached. If you see him, call Merseyside Police on 101 or DM @MerpolCC. Always call 999 if a crime is in progress.
