Jealous boyfriend who beat partner's defenceless toddler daughter to death jailed

A jealous killer who beat his girlfriend's defenceless toddler daughter to death will serve at least 20 years behind bars.

Kamran Haider resented the attention 16-month-old Nusayba Bint-Umar received from her mum, and was heard slapping her hours before she became gravely ill on September 13, 2019.

The tot was rushed to hospital by her mum, Asiyah Amazir, who had only been in a relationship with the killer for five weeks.
