Fenerbahce are set to battle Celtic for Vinicius Souza’s signature.
And the Turkish outfit have reportedly submitted a €5million offer to Lommel for the midfielder. They have also included a future sell-on fee as part of the deal. The Belgian second tier side have yet to respond to the Istanbul side. However, Fenerbahce may have to up their offer, with Lommel reportedly holding out for between €8million and €9million.
That’s according to Turkish outlet Yeni Safak, who also claim the player had knocked back Celtic. However Ange Postecoglou remains keen on a deal to land the 23-year-old. The Australian boss wants to add more steel and physical presence in the middle of the park ahead of the Champions League group stages.
