Vin Diesel has paid a heartfelt tribute to Paul Walker on the ninth anniversary of his death.
Paul tragically died, aged 40, in a car crash that occurred in California on November 30, 2013. The incident also claimed the life of the vehicle's driver, Roger Rodas.
The late actor's close pal and co-star Vin, 55 - who appeared alongside him in the Fast & Furious franchise - marked the ninth anniversary of his death this morning, sharing a post in which he said he loves and misses his late friend.
He took to to Instagram earlier to pay tribute to Paul - who is best known for his role as Brian O'Conner in the beloved franchise - and shared a throwback photo of them together.
Vin - who leads the Fast & Furious franchise as his character Dominic Toretto - wrote in the caption of his recent post on the platform: "Nine years ... love you and miss you".
He included a photo of them together, which is understood to have been from the production of Fast & Furious 6, which was released months before Paul's death in 2013.
At the time of his death, he had been working on Furious 7. His brothers Caleb Walker, now 45, and Cody Walker, now 34, stood in for him for his remaining scenes in the film.
Vin is the godfather of Paul's daughter Meadow Walker, 24. He's remained close to Meadow - who was just a teenager when her dad died - since his pal's tragic death.
He told Extra last year he feels "very protective" and said that she "takes good care" of him. He added: "To see her with my children is one of the most beautiful things."
Vin was among those in attendance at her wedding to Louis Thornton-Allan last year, with him giving her away in the ceremony, which was held in the Dominican Republic.
Following her father's death, Meadow founded the Paul Walker Foundation, which is a non-profit organisation that has been established in the late actor's memory.
The organisation's website states that it's an "enduring light" of Paul's spirit. It hopes to "leave people better educated and equipped to deal with the challenges of tomorrow."
It states that donations go towards "changing the world for the better," such as "empowering" young people and supporting the environment.
