Viktor Hovland and Scottie Scheffler battled out a dramatic final round at the Travelers Championship, with the pair forced to return on Monday following weather delays.
For overnight leader Hovland, a one-under 69 gave him a 21-under total, while Scheffler's two-under final round matched the Norwegian, who had plenty of fans in attendance at TPC River Highlands.

During the front nine, it was a tightly fought contest and, midway through the back nine, it was anyone's for the taking, with Collin Morikawa setting the target at 20-under.
The likes of Hovland, Scheffler and US Open winner, Wyndham Clark, were in pursuit of Morikawa, and a timely downpour meant the field became even more bunched, with play eventually being halted due to lightning in the area.
At the time, Scheffler was 21-under, while Hovland was 19-under, but following an hour-and-a-half break, it was the latter who came out firing, producing three birdies at the 13th, 14th and 15th to pull alongside the World No.1.
Parring the 16th and 17th, both Scheffler and Hovland left themselves chances at the final hole to earn victory, but with both narrowly missing, it meant that 21-under was the magic total.
Because of the rain delay, it meant that Hovland and Scheffler would have to return on Monday to decide a winner, with play getting underway at 9am ET.
A former Travelers Championship champion, Scheffler possesses a 2-2 playoff record on the PGA Tour, while Hovland is yet to feature in a playoff.
Regarding the playoff itself, the 18th hole will be played repeatedly until a winner is crowned at the PGA Tour's final Signature Event of 2026.

WE ARE BACK UNDERWAY
The final round of the Travelers Championship resumed at 7:20 p.m. ET (delay of 1 hour, 23 minutes).June 28, 2026
HOVLAND TO 20-UNDER
Quick start from Hovland, who birdies the 14th and moves within one of Scheffler.
Up ahead, Bhatia misses a great chance at the 15th to move to 19-under.
BIG BREAK FOR SCOTTIE
Hovland comes up short at the driveable par 4 15th, with the Norwegian leaving a relatively simple up-and-down.
Scheffler, meanwhile, pulls his tee shot left and it is heading towards the water. Thankfully, for the World No.1, it lands soft and stays on dry land.
Had the rain not fallen, that was destined for the drink!
UNDERSTANDABLE

MOMENTUM SHIFT?
How things can change so quickly!
Scheffler seemingly plays a great chip, but it doesn't check up and runs over the back of the green and leaves him a tough up-and-down.
Hovland, meanwhile, plays a gorgeous second at the 15th and leaves himself just a few feet for birdie. That would move him to 21-under.
FITZ TO 19-UNDER
Fitzpatrick birdies the 17th via a great putt and moves to 19-under.
BIG SAVE FOR SCOTTIE
That's so good from Scheffler, who rolls in an eight-footer to save par and remain at 21-under.
Big moment for the World No.1, who is joined by Hovland shortly afterwards, who birdies the 15th to move to 21-under.
OH WYNDHAM
Huge mistake from Wyndham Clark, who comes up short at the 17th and finds the water.
He was 19-under, but will drop a shot and fall out of contention following a poor approach.
BOGEY FOR CLARK
Disappointing from Clark, who makes a horrid bogey at the 17th to fall back to 18-under.
Up ahead, Fitzpatrick pars the final hole and finishes 19-under, shooting a final round 64 in the process.
PARS AT THE 16TH
Both Scheffler and Hovland safely par the 16th, with both men remaining at 21-under.
ADVANTAGE VIKTOR
At the par 4 17th, Hovland finds the fairway, while Scheffler pulls his tee shot left and into the rough.
Scheffler leaves 187-yards into the green, while Hovland is left with 180-yards.
SO GOOD FROM SCOTTIE
Wow... he's good!
From 185-yards, Scheffler sticks his approach to 11-feet. Unreal shot from the rough.
Hovland steps up to reply and can only stick it to 30-feet, giving the advantage to Scheffler.
CLARK PARS THE LAST
Excellent performance from Clark, who finishes with a par and ends his tournament 18-under.
NEAR MISSES FROM THE LEADERS
Both Hovland and Scheffler leave good birdie chances at the 17th, but both men are unable to convert, with both grazing the edge.
Near misses mean they remain 21-under heading down the 72nd hole.
ADVANTAGE HOVLAND
Hovland finds the fairway with his tee shot, while Scheffler sprays his drive right and into the thick rough at the 18th.
The advantage is Hovland's, with Scheffler's golf ball sat down in the rough.
BHATIA SHOOTS A 67
Bhatia fires a three-under 67 and finishes in a share of fifth alongside Wyndham Clark.
GOOD SHOT FROM SCOTTIE
From the rough, the World No.1 puts his shot to 30-feet and leaves a decent chance for birdie.
Hovland, meanwhile, is taking relief due to the standing water following the early deluge.

SUPER HOV
Excellent approach from Hovland, who goes at the flag and spins it back to 24-foot.
Both Hovland and Scheffler have chances for birdie coming up.
WOAH!
I wasn't expecting that! Scheffler smashes his birdie putt well past the hole, leaving himself nine-feet coming back for par.
Advantage Hovland!
HOW CLOSE?!
How did that not drop?
It was bang online, but somehow Hovland's putt dives right and narrowly misses.
Hovland pars and it now puts the pressure on Scheffler.
CLUTCH FROM SCHEFFLER
So good from Scottie!
He rammed his birdie putt well by, but Scheffler makes no mistake coming back, with his par attempt in the center of the hole.
Play is done for today, and we'll return on Monday, due to fading light.
