The Minnesota Vikings and New York Giants are less than two hours from kickoff and the inactives have been announced. The Vikings list of five players is led by cornerback Cameron Dantzler who was announced as being out earlier on Sunday.
Joining Dantzler will be running back Ty Chandler, outside linebacker Luiji Vilain, defensive lineman Esezi Otomewo and defensive lineman Ross Blacklock.
The biggest surprise of the inactives is Otomewo who has played in 89 snaps over the last five games in a rotational role. With the return of defensive end James Lynch, the need for Otomewo on gameday is lessened.
Blacklock appears to be on the way out, as he has been inactive for the last six weeks.
