The Minnesota Vikings found a way to lose in embarrassing fashion despite it being a six-point deficit in a 34-28 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles.
From the defense allowing over 450 yards including 259 on the ground to fumbling the ball away four times and the defensive line being thrown around like rag dolls, fans were visibly frustrated over the loss.
Buy Vikings TicketsIf the Vikings don’t turn the ball over seven times in the first two games, they could easily be 2-0. Unfortunately, they did and the “regression has hit them hard” being 0-2 in one score games after being 11-0 last season.
Fans and analysts took to Twitter to show their frustrations about this team and it wasn’t pretty.

The #Vikings have an 0-2 record this season, with both losses in one-score games.
In contrast, the #Vikings were 11-0 in one-score games last season. pic.twitter.com/laxjKE1moM

Turnovers have been brutal and ties a Vikings record
Love it when the Vikings tie their own record for some ridiculous bullshit pic.twitter.com/31dp2bw12X

It's so funny that the Vikings lose a close week 1 game and you think "if they can just not turn the ball over 3 times they could be pretty good!" and then they go and turn the ball over *four* times

There’s never been a more Vikings sequence than fumbling it out of the end zone instead of taking the lead at the end of the half and then allowing a 61-yard field goal to a team trying to run the clock out
I hate this team

I have the recipe to fix the vikings. It's complex so bear with me
step 1: stop fumbling
step 2: you're doneok did you follow all that?

Imagine if the Vikings didn’t fumble FOUR times

Time to tank for a quarterback?
Your Minnesota Vikings are a mere 15 losses away from Caleb Williams https://t.co/7SoAoZmPE9
— Thor Nystrom (@thorku) September 15, 2023
Gameplan:
Vikings lose next week to Chargers, starting 0-3 (3% chance to make playoffs), and sell Kirk Cousins to Jets after they see Zach Wilson play this week and next.
Tank for Caleb or Drake.
Then have generational QB on rookie deal with JJ, Addison, Hock, KJ or whoever.

The offensive line is still a problem

#Vikings QB Kirk Cousins vs. the #Eagles tonight:
– 31/44
– 364 passing yards
– 4 TD
– 128.4 QB ratingKirk did it all with no offensive line help and a lack of an efficient run game.#skol pic.twitter.com/BmsHTqgQwk

Vikings gonna Viking
I wish the Vikings could just get obliterated on national TV in a normal way instead of the infinitely torturous and memeable way

excited for everyone to laud this game as a moral victory and project success for the vikings moving forward pic.twitter.com/TqtXo4tSCp
