The Minnesota Vikings have made a move on the practice for the second consecutive day.
On Tuesday, the Vikings released wide receiver Daylen Baldwin and used that spot to re-sign offensive lineman Henry Byrd to the practice squad.
The Vikings had initially signed Byrd to the practice squad after final cuts when he was waived by the Denver Broncos. He was on the practice squad until November fourth when he was waived in a fleury of roster moves.
The Vikings brought him back to the practice squad after trimming down from five to four wide receivers. They are also a little thin on the offensive line due to the injuries suffered by Brian O’Neill, Ed Ingram and Dalton Risner.
Byrd likely won’t be elevated at all, but his presence will help the team in practice.
