After the somewhat successful return of wide receiver Justin Jefferson, the Minnesota Vikings cleared up some of their logjam at wide receiver on the practice squad. The team announced on Tuesday afternoon that they released wide receiver Daylen Baldwin from the practice squad.
The Vikings signed Baldwin to the practice squad back on November 22nd to help fortify a room that was dealing with the Jefferson injury and bumps and bruises. He was only on the practice squad for one game before being released.
Baldwin went undrafted out of Michigan in the 2022 NFL draft and signed with the Cleveland Browns. He played in one game for the Browns and caught two passes for 25 yards.
The release of Baldwin means that the Vikings have one spot open on the practice squad.
