Heading into Sunday’s game against the Atlanta Falcons, the Minnesota Vikings have made multiple roster moves and changed distinctions that could make a real impact.
Saturday afternoons are a day where these are common, as you have to elevate players from the practice squad by 3 p.m. Cundefinedentral time in order for them to play on Sunday.
Here are the seven roster moves and distinctions made by the Vikings on Saturday.
LT Christian Darrisaw
- Downgraded to questionable
Darrisaw didn’t appear on the injury report all week but was added with a groin injury on Satuday.
G/C Chris Reed
- Downgraded to out
Reed has been on the NFI list with a foot injury since the beginning of training camp, but practiced in full this week for the first time.
WR Jalen Nailor
- Activated from injured reserve
Nailor was activated from injured reserve after having his practice window activated less than three weeks ago. He should likely see some playing time on Sunday.
DL T.J. Smith
- Elevated from practice squad
Smith was elevated from the practice squad due to the injury to the injury to Dean Lowry.
ILB Nick Vigil
- Elevated from practice squad
Vigil was elevated from the practice squad for the second-consecutive week due to the injury to Brian Asamoah II.
OL Coy Cronk
- Signed to practice squad
A UDFA in 2021, Cronk spent timekwith the Green Bay Packers and Jacksonville Jaguars.
G Henry Byrd
- Released from practice squad
The Vikings signed Byrd to the practice squad after cutdown day in August.
