The Minnesota Vikings have only two tight ends currently on the active roster and have been in that situation since placing tight end Ben Ellefson on injured reserve before the game against the Chicago Bears.
On Saturday, the Vikings elevated one of their two tight ends on the practice squad, choosing Jacob Hollister over Nick Muse.

Muse was elevated over Hollister for the game against the Bears but Hollister got the call against the Miami Dolphins. In that game, he didn’t record a stat but his veteran presence is likely the reason why they have chosen to go with him over Muse for a second-consecutive week.
In his seven-year career out of Wyoming, Hollister has 83 catches for 707 yards and seven touchdowns.
