The Minnesota Vikings hold a 24-3 lead over the Green Bay Packers after the Jordan Addison touchdown in the third quarter. They hold a 21-point lead on the Packers for the first time since 2009 per ESPN Stats and Info.
What’s special about that game? It was the official return of Brett Favre to Lambeau Field as an opponent.
The Star Tribune’s Ben Goessling added onto it by stating the Vikings held leads by that much in the infamous Randy Moss breakout game on Monday Night Football in 1998 and the re-opening of Lambeau Field in 2003.
The Vikings have been really good so far against the Packers. They forced a three-and-out on their first four drives of the game and dominated the first half. They were excellent on both offense and defense with a small concern on special teams.
